any tire can be put on any car if an engineer modifies the car. However most of the time the bolt patterns are the same and the wheels can be changed out with larger or smaller aftermarket ones. Evie is right you may need to recaibrate your speedometer. Why you ask well imagine this: Before you changed the wheels lets say you had 14 inch. Now you have 15 inch there is a larger diameter to the wheel and more rubber to cover in order to make a revolution. The car does not know this when you change the tire size and thus still thinks you have 14 inch wheels. This means you cover more ground in one revolution than the car thinks which causes the car to read a lower speed than you are actually doing. If we do the math 14 inch circumference = 21.99 inches 15 inch = 23.56 inches thus you cover an extra 9.3% of road that the car doesn't know about which will influence your speedo by around 9.3%. Thus assuming you are actually travelling 100km/hr your car will only show around 91km. Or in US terms an actual 60 miles an hour will register as 55 or so miles on the dash
