I have a 1999 Chevy s-10 Blazer 4x4 and I cannot put it in 4 wheel drive, the button on the dash is not lit up at all and nothing happens when I hit any of the 3 buttons, what's wrong???

2 wheel hi light stays on most of the time, when I hit a hard bump it goes off. When I push the 4 wheel hi, or low button it blinks then goes out..... Why???
on hook the battery for 10 min, then try it it happend to mine and someone told about it and it worked

It's a fuse on the drivers Side interior same thing happened to mine

I had the same problem in my 2001 Chevrolet Blazer LT and I removed the switch and took it into my workshop and re-soldered all the contacts for the switches as they had cracks in them and after doing that all the switches work perfectly. Just be careful not to put too much heat into the switch contacts, all you should have to do is just touch them so they melt and touch them with a little solder when doing it. Be careful that the solder does not spread to other contacts.
It could be a simple fuse blown. Check and or replace the #15 10amp fuse on the driver side of your dash ( facing the driver door )... If not try replacing your 3 button 4x4 switch on your dash.
Check out the vacuum pump .my 03 $10. done simular and it was in the pump
Right answer. Had the same problem then went to the #15 fuse I believe is a 15(amp)red in color. Works now
