Hi dypy32, This could be a Sensor, Module, or wiring problem. I would take it into your favorite mechanic/dealership. This is one for the pros to handle. Good luck!

the light only stays on if there is a problem with the system, and until you fix the problem, your airbags won't deploy in the event of an accident- get it fixed as soon as you can.
