O2 sensors

Just bought a 1989 honda civic lx, it runs great for
about 15 minutes then the check engine light
comes on, recently just changed the oil but light
still comes on, I believe it's the o2 sensor because
the ecu is constantly blinking once and I read that
that is oxygen support. I can't find the connector
that connects to my o2 sensor at all. I believe the
previous owner might have taken it out. I need
some assistance can someone help?

There are 2 places for your o2 sensors. 1. If you catalysts converter is next to the engine then all of the o2 sensors should be in the same location. 2 of your catalysts convert is build behind under the car then the down stream o2 senor should be there Jack it up and if you can see it. If your cat. Is necessary to the engine then you should see it one is at exhaust manifold and 2nd one is at the bottom of the cat. As long you can see 2 wires on the exhaust manifold area you should fine them because that's the only wires near your exhaust manifold
