Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 87 Honda Civic I was driving and it start to get hot. When I noticed I was very hot and I had the PGM-FI light came on and I shut down the vehicle. It will start if you put gas into the intake but dies as soon as the gas is gone. It has a new fuel pump and radiator. Please help I do not have the money to take it to the garage.

Programmed Fuel Injection, or PGM-FI, is the name given by Honda to a digital electronic fuel injection system. It takes a Honda specific tool to test it. It is a system, not a single part that, unfortunately, can be replaced inexpensively
