what prevents gas from getting to front part of carburator for back area get gas not front

have a 1983 honda accord hatchback where no gas seems to be coming out into front chamber of carburator.. Why is it??

Carbs are tricky sometimes. I would get a rebuilt kit if you can find one and try rebuilding it. It's not difficult, your just replacing parts. Keeps tabs ( take pics as your taking it apart ) and good luck
