That sounds like an original equipment "Dealer Only" part but take the cover into an auto parts store and they may be able to help you save some money. And the dealer may want you to purchase the whole cover to get just the clip.

I need to replace the clip that holds to battery compartment cover on. I'm not sure what the part is called or where I can buy one.
