When I am driving I hear a roaring sound. I HAVE checked the oil and everything, but it looks good. I also have had the air filter changed along with spark plugs and wires. What can this be?

Sounds like a bad wheel bearing. Have it checked asap.

Depends on your definition of "roaring". My Benz sometimes has a very noticeable "roaring" sound also. Turned out to be the radiator fan running at its highest speed. There are so many sensors - if one of them thinks the engine is too hot - it increases the fan speed to compensate. Probably all is OK - but if it is constant - have the dealer or mechanic check to see if one of the temp sensors has malfunctioned.
