Call timeout and tell the plate umpire you want to substitute a new batter into the line up. If you wanted to change a battery, you need to remove the brackets holding it down. First remove the cables, then look at the bottom of the battery and see if there are any bolts holding a bracket that is pinching the bottom of the battery in place. Loosen these until the battery is free. Remove the top coverings and lift the battery out. Sorry for the sarcasm at first. Could't resist.
