Car dead can't start
I have a 2004 SLK500 sittiing in my garage and has been for around a year, I
can't get it started won't take a jump and Im trying to get it to a shop , but the
tow companies won't tow it in it's present condition. What can be done, so I
may take it there my self.
Have you tried putting a charger on the battery to charge it? Will the motor turn over when you put jumper cables on it? If so, your fuel system may need charging, If your battery is completely dead, the electronic fuel pump will not work to put fuel into the system. Is your car situated so the tow company will not or can not put it on a flatbed truck? Sounds like a lazy driver to me. Tow trucks tow cars not running all the time when responding to vehicle accidents. If you have insurance to tow it, like AAA, and the drive refuses, give the company (AAA) a call and request a different company. There is no reason you can not get it taken to the dealer or garage for repairs.
I pput in a new battery and car will not start.
is there a sequense to do with keys
