Hi Miguel>>Although I own this car, and have replaced the thermostat once, I'm not exactly sure what the temperature of the thermostat is. I'm guessing it's just around 190-195, since on my temp. gauge in the car it usually reads around 85-90C. when the car is warmed up. The thermostat is directly behind the black plastic outlet which is slightly curved as it comes out of the upper front of the engine. Just pop the hood and look directly at and slightly below the top of the front of the engine and you will see it. It's got two Torx head bolts holding the thing on. The thermostat is accessible when you remove this. It's easy to know when your thermostat is defective. Two things will happen. The "check engine light" will come on and also your temperature on the little gauge will be higher than normal (or lower in some cases if the thermostat is stuck OPEN). Hope this helps you out.
