I've wanted to straight pipe my
truck for a while. Problem is I

You have to leave the catalysts intact or it will mess up the air fuel ratios and make it hard to drive, check with you local muffler shop, they might be able to make up a set of pipes for you.

Or look into a exhaust system to get the sound you are looking for. Yes you need the cats like tennisshoes says, but they make nice exhaust system that work on your vehicle. 3" exhaust is nice.

First, buy a straight pipe-

Don't do it, your neighbors might open a can of "whoop ass" on you.

The heck with the neighbors, should hear my truck....they know it is me going by, lol

cut the exhaust pipe right after the cat- throw the rest away- sounds great!

Only if you want to get carbon monoxide poisoning from the fumes coming into the cab.

Don't remove the O2 sensors!
