Truck dies at intersection, now won't start. Any Ideas?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Truck died at an intersection waiting for the light to change.  No lights, no emergent warnings.  One thing I did notice, the idle seemed to run about 2 pegs below 1k rpm when it usually runs at one peg above half K mark.  Then death became her.  Once towed home, threw my cheapy obdcom reader but no codes, no engine lights, no warning lights no notice...It will turnover, all gauges are showing good except oil pressure.  When trying to start it, turns over then kinda catches spark/fire but then losses it.  This is it.  I stopped as I did not want to drain the battery completely.  I have had the water pump replaced, a tune up about 2yrs/45k miles

alternator or battery check could be loose or dirty terminal.

could be fuel filter or fuel pump?

FYI Update to the issue. After setting at home for a few hours, I decided to try and get codes with my reader again. This time the truck started without so much a sputter or hiccup. Ran great. Got a TCM failure error code and low voltage code. I drove it to work (1 mile) and it seemed to shift fine, went up a hill, around in parking garage, no issues what so ever. Do you guys think this (TCM Failure) could have caused the original problem or is a result of?
