does the engine cel come on? when's the last time u changed the fuel filter?

The light comes on when I start my truck and then it does it. The light isn't on all the time and I have never changed the fuel filter

I you have more than 50000 miles on it I would definitely change that. its starving for fuel! it's about plugged up

The trucks got around 115,000 miles

GO GET A NEW ONE! the frequency of replacement can be found in owners manual

usually rust is the culprit from under ground tanks

buy some throttle body spray too and clean each side of flap

I will try that and see what it does that could explain a lot of issues

Thank you for the help

good luck

see what the code is that comes up , there can be one even if light is not on or goes out .
