Question type: Car Customization

What is the biggest tire size that will fit on my 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 sport 4x4
without rubbing? I currently have 265/70R17 tires sitting on stock Ram Sport
17inch rims. I'm just trying to figure out what the biggest tire size I can put on
my stock rims without them rubbing.

Without seeing the rig I would say 285/70/17. But to play it safe try a good tire shop, they can take measurements and come up with a more accurate number. Just remember that any change you make in the tire width, height or tread pattern will have a effect on MPG.
