Low oil pressure/ check gauge light

I have just changed my oil pump on my truck
to solve a low oil pressure issue. I have no
noise or rattling coming from the engine. After
changing the pump I will get oil pressure for
like the first 10-15 minutes of running the
truck then my gauge just drops and sits there
at 0 and my check gauge light comes on. I
was wondering if this could be because the
gauge itself is out and I need a new dash
cluster or if something else is causing the
issue.

    oil pressure gauge drops off to nothing than immediatly climbs back to normal. it only does it at operating temp, and when the truck is coming to a stop. oil level is normal to my knowledge.
