"No bus" is your ECM telling that one of the other computers onboard doesn't wanna talk to the ECM. This is "usually" a wiring/connector problem. Check you wiring/connections, especially under the drivers side kick panel. Do you have access to an engine scanner? If not, go to auto zone or some other local store n get them to "hook u up" n read any active or potential codes.

So my 2011 Ram gauge cluster would freak out! I noticed when I would release the parking break it would effect what the gauges were doing. I removed the lower dash panel below the steering column and disconnected all plugs and cleaned with contact cleaner. I also removed and cleaned all the grounds under the hood. Problems solved! No more wipers turning them selves on, gauges turning off and all the lights coming on the dash!!

Hey man since all of this happened I found a green connector that was the problem for me. Open ur drivers door, there is a removable almost triangle shaped panel that covers the left side of the dash. To the left of the steering wheel, u will see a green connector behind it. I played with it while the truck was running and was able to recreate the error. I disconnected the plug, cleaned the connectors and used an electrical anti seize (Nolex) or grease on the connection. It actually solved the problem man. Good luck!!
