2001 suburban lt right rear wheel/axle making metal grinding noises

Abs & brake lights light up when driving. As soon as I drive off I hear noises
from right rear like worn pads grinding on a rotor. Brake pads were changed
on rear just before these noises became noticeable. Checked rear axle grease
reservoir @ last oil change/chassis lube service seems OK! Have not had
wheel bearing ckd, please advise. Front brakes ok but right front had lot of
mystery fluid dripping around inside of wheel but it has not reappeared.
