Hello, I have been searching for this information for you. I think the best thing to do is check out the manuals on ebay, as there are no diagrams online. http://search.ebay.com/search/search.dll?cgiurl=http%3A%2F%2Fcgi.ebay.com%2Fws%2F&fkr=1&from=R8&satitle=2001+suburban+manual&category0=&submitSearch=Search I hope this helps!

There is a hole the size of quater in the floor center where the back doors open. Use screw driver and turn it to lower spare tire.

There is a black cover on the bumper to the right of the license plate. Remove the cover and stick one of the bars in and attach the lug nut bar to it to use as a crank to lower the spare tire.

2000 Suburban. Jack is under hood. Jack on drivers side. Tool on right passenger side. Stumped us! Manual refers to how to use the jack but not where it is stored! Thanks whoever posted this question years ago.
