Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I just brought my truck Thursday and it was driving just fine.
All of a sudden it wouldn't roll. So my dad jacked the truck
up and put it in gear and the wheels started spinning but
they not spinning fast when you floor it but they stop and
will not spin. Do anyone know what the problem could be?

Sounds like there is a brake caliper or two frozen up. May be a bad brake caliper, or the hoses running to the brake caliper. The brake hoses can break down internally and collapse, not allowing the brake fluid to flow back and forth threw the line. One way to tell is to open the bleeders on the brake calipers to see if it releases the brake caliper. If it does then it is a brake line hose. If not then the brake caliper is frozen up, and need replacing.

Ok the guy I brought it from did tell me he haven't drove it since he moved to Houston From wisconsin a year ago. I changed the rotors and brake pads but my dad can seem to get the bleeder screw off.

Then just crack open the brake hose line on the brake caliper, that will relieve the pressure if it is the brake hose. Then see if you can spin the wheel. Do this on the ones that are locked up.
