Blower and AC on when switch is off?

Asked by mmoss111 Dec 02, 2016 at 09:33 AM about the 1998 Dodge RAM 1500 Laramie SLT Club Cab RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Had dealer remove blower and clean leaves out.  Now can not turn blower and A/C off with switch?  Runs at low speed and compressor stays on when switch is off..... Relay stuck on?  Short in wiring? Why did removal of blower to clean cause problem?

I'd take it back to the dealer that did the work, as it was on them to fix it right, and not give it back to you with an additional problem.

Unfortunately I did take it back and they busted up the dash removing it and said that "maybe" a new switch for $400 would fix it! I do not deal with them anymore......
