Firm hoses before and after heater core change also can hear heater core filling with water after cold start up also before and after heater core install i have burped the coolant system

Yesterday the temp went from 195 to
215-220 and no firm hoses then went
back to normal temp with firm hoses.
this is the first time it has ever got that
hot in two years of me owning it.

Thermostat might need changed.. the hose going into the top of the water pump has to be removed and there is the thermostat..
