Sounds like a fuel issue. Any chance that you got bad gas???

That wont make the trans stop pulling

Sorry I thought that the engine was quitting on you. It could be anything from the transmission being junk to just low on fluid. Perhaps there are some bad transmission sensors. How dose the fluid look? Any CEL lights come on?

I have a 2002 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 4.7 Sport. I recently put in a new/used motor because my old one had a bad crankshaft. So after getting new motor in I started the truck and it ran great. I only ran it for about 5 seconds because I noticed I had a broken transmission line. I went back the next day and fixed the line. I went to start the truck back up and nothing happened.
