Depending on the weight rating of the tow hitch first. If its a frame mounted hitch like a reese it could be 3500 to 7000 lbs including trailer weight I would not pull close to the weight of the truck without trailer brakes and match the trailer weight and hitch and equipment up per ratings, of course this all depends on the health of you engine & trans. May be a good idea to turn of Overdrive or use drive instead of OD with some loads. I would not pull over 2000lbs from the bumper including trailer weight..Replace any tires that are near the end of life and when I say that its more like half used as pulling trailers will find weak links and tires are a weak link.
