'03 S-10 blowing off fuel line

Why does my '03 4.3L 5spd 4x4 S-10 blow the fuel line off at  the front of the in-line filter? Connector and clip look good and feel secure until I try to start it; then it blows off.

If connector is good and installed correctly, check fuel pressure at rail, ur fuel regulator might be bad
