You can get schematics to look at , autozone website. The shifter is in park or neutral, right, but is there a safety for stepping on the brake ? or a clutch switch ? Read your schematic and plan where to check for power with a 12v test light or voltmeter after following jim's suggestion. power distribution box cable connection can be checked for clean and tight. and of course battery connections cleaned and brushed to a shine, assembled, and tight, then power and ground at main cables. charged up the battery.
