What is causing my blower motor not to blow when turned on. It does not go on at any level

Asked by VALAW Feb 02, 2015 at 09:20 PM about the 2000 Chevrolet S-10 LS LB RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My blower motor would not come on when switch is turned on.  Less than three hours before it was working fine with no noises from the blower motor.  It is 0 F here, would that have anything to do with it.  I have not checked the fuse yet as the truck is outside.

check the fuses/relay and see if they are blown. If they aren't, put power to the blower motor and see if it will come on. if it does then the problem is somewhere else, maybe the switch or blower resistor.
