New battery, New alternator, and New starter.. check charging system comes on and dead battery light..

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My car has a new battery, New alternator, and New
starter. My alternator New and all is 105v, my old
alternator was 110v. The alternator isn't charging
up the battery, the car is running off the battery.

The alternator is nominally 12 volts but should put out up to 15 volts when it is needed.

Check the voltage at the battery. You should have between 13.5 and 14.5 volts with the engine running.

The battery is good the alternator isn't giving off any voltage. The alternator I replaced it with has an smaller voltage output...the brand new alternator isn't reading anything.......

Maybe you got a bad rebuilt alternator. Take it back and have them test it.
