AC

Asked by Stumped63 Jun 26, 2019 at 05:40 PM about the 2006 Ford F-150 STX Styleside

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

When I turn the AC on it'll click on and off for the
first 5mins and then intermittently while driving it
does blow cold when it clicks on, the system was
first vacuumed down and recharged, then the evap
can and orifice tub replaced then finally the
compressor(all new not used or remaned) to no
avail, any suggestions?

An AC compressor will click on and off when low in refrigerant. So in spite of all the new work you had done, you may still have a leak or are low on 134a. If the work was done at a shop, take it back for them to check what is going on.

Thanks I appreciate it but the system was checked and checked again which is why I'm stumped, I thought there might be a relay that I'm not aware of or if it could be the climate control panel
