the vacum hose that goes to the power booster has come lose from behind the end of the engine near the fire wall can some one tell me where it goes and will this make the engine misfire

this is on a f 150 5.4 2006 ford truck I had a useless mechanic put cam phasers on and he left the vacum hose that goes to the power booster off from behind the engine now I have a big misfire and no power breaks

it just connects to a line behind the intake. there is a recall in where you replace that hose the new one has clamps on it, the old one did not. give a dealer your vin see it has the recall.
