2005 F150 XLT AC issues

Hello, I have a 2005 Ford F150 XLT.
For some reason, when I ideal for extended periods of time
+1- 2 Hours, my AC even though it's set at medium ( #3
notch) and still sounds likes its blowing that hard but you
can feel the reduction of velocity coming from the vents.
Still blows cold, just a noticeable reduction. Almost like a
partial blockage.
I'll shut it off come back later the issue is gone, until I idal
again for extend periods.
It also goes away if I drive some distance. Any ideas?

Could be a heat related issue with the electrical fan motor, but it doesn't explain why the issue goes away once you drive for some distance. Could be an alternator charging problem. Try checking the alternator when the condition is present. Also, if you are at idle for 1 to 2 hours, what other electrical components are in operation during idle? Radio? Computer hooked up? etc. Could you be running down the battery? I retired from law enforcement. All patrol cars had their idle see a little high to keep battery charged during extended idle periods.
