What kind of scanner. Autozone said they had nothing to scan it with. My friend put it on an actron obd ll pocket scan no codes read.

If you aren't experiencing drivability issues, it could simply be a wiring issue. Have you done good trans maintenance? Is the fluid level full? One of the common problems can be a tcc solenoid. You would notice shifting problems though, like it didn't want to come out of gear. Usually in 3-4. The actron is a good scanner, but limited. You may need to take it to a dealer to get a better scan.
