Transmission over drive

Asked by Mimi3434 Jul 10, 2017 at 11:31 PM about the 2004 Ford F-150 XL 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Had my alternator replaced on my 2004 f150 4x4 truck and
now my truck will not engage into over drive. It will go
through all other gears 1 and 2 but when it need to hit  3 it
will.not kick in. This truck is an automatic.

I doubt the two are related. Have a good transmission shop check it out.
