Question type: Maintenance & Repair

After changing my timing chain my truck will not start.
What are the symptoms of a off timing chain ? Will the
truck still turn over?

If you mess the timing up on those overhead cammed Fords it is very easy to bend valves. If it ran before you changed the chain the problem is something you did.

If the marking are dead on then what could I have done wrong?

Does the engine turn when you try to crank it? Did you turn the engine a couple of revolutions in the correct direction by hand before putting it back together. Did you replace the tensioners? Did you replace the rubbing blocks? Did you leave any sensors unplugged like the crank sensor etc. Also from the pictures it looks like the chain is dirty and has sand on it.

I forgot to put my Ignition Pulsator Crankshaft Sensor Ring back on after doing the timing chain, wouldn't fire at all.
