2001 f150 no rear lights but tail lights

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

All of my rear lights have stopped
working. Started out turn signals
flashing fast in front only. Checked all
fuses and bulbs. I changed signal and
flasher relays. As well as changing
muliti function switch. Followed wires
along rail looking for bad wires. None.
Checked rear connector (above spare)
all good. Im outa options. Anyone
have a idea? Thanks

Did you check voltage and ground? The diagram should be for brake lamps. see the brake lamp position switch, that top wire to switch in diagram is voltage, fuse protected, hot all the the time. Use a test light to check for voltage. In the diagram, the bottom wire off switch, goes hot when you step on the brake, check that wire for voltage, also. That D you see in diagram goes to multifunction switch. Hope this helps, a little.
