F-150 drink holder

The spring on the drink holder on my 150 fell off.  The plastic "nuts" broke.  No problem to put back on with small screws or epoxy, but how do you get it out of the dash?

i have the same problem in my 2000 flareside... im thinking just replacing the whole thing from a scrap yard? Mine broke on the right side and just dangles
