The first step is to check for fuel and spark at the engine. That should narrow it down. Post what you find and we will try and help.
Twenty bucks for a fuel pressure test gauge with the various fittings to check. About fifteen bucks for an HEI spark detector to test the coil and plug wires. Resist the urge to throw expensive parts at the problem in hopes you hit the correct one.
