I have a 1998 ford f150 xlt 4x4 with the 4.6l triton the
problem I'm having is with it draining the battery dry it's as
if it has a battery charger hooked to it the truck runs fine
no problems but once disconnected it will start to spit and
sputter then all the gauges quit working and eventually
dies out I have installed a new alternator, starter, starter
solenoid, battery, and terminals and no good results any

Have you tested the charging system? With engine running, the generator should carry the load, not the battery. If battery is down, use a charger and get it charged up. Make sure battery connections all good. You could use digital multimeter at generator bat terminal, to check voltage, hot all the time. I see three fuses in diagram, use a test lite, check for voltage at the fuses. The 10 amp fuse above charge indicator, goes hot hot with key on. See the bottom wire at generator, in diagram, that is excite voltage. W/o excite voltage, the generator won't charge. The charge indicator, is that lite working?
