May be a fuel regulator. You could tell if you hooked up a fuel pressure gauge, and with the engine running, rev it up some, the fuel pressure should stay the same. Or when it is running if you unplug the vacuum line to the fuel regulator, if it is good the fuel pressure will rise on the fuel pressure gauge like 5 to 7 lbs. If it don't rise then it is bad. Make sure the fuel pressure is in the proper range.
