Overheating Chevy Blazer

I have a 02 Chevy Blazer 2wd that has a cooling
problem due to a brown sludge in the system. It
did not feel greasy to touch. I have ran coolant
flush through the system for 3 days and it helped
for a little bit. I have changed all of the hoses and
thermostat. Just need to know how deep do I
need to go to straighten out this problem? Not
sure how to diagnosed to see if it's a blown head
gasket or intake gasket leak's?

Sounds like someone put a stop leak Product in the cooling system. No good ever comes from doing that! Flush the cooling system with a chemical cleaner to get rid of the stop leak Product. Flush the heater core separately, in place, as I assume the heater is not working either! To replace the heater core the entire dash assembly has to come out! Once you get all the stop leak out of the cooling system something, like the intake manifold gaskets, will probably be leaking. Address any leaks and go from there. Hope that helps! Jim
