Have you checked for spark at the spark plugs?

No. I will do that today after work. Someone told me I may need a new distributor. I'm wondering if it could be something as simple as a bad wire from the distributor to the coil...

The distributor is probably not bad unless the shaft wobbles. The pickup inside the distributor is also a possibility. You should also check to see if the engine is getting gas.

Getting plenty of gas. No wobble in the distributor. I'll check again tonight after work. Probably should just take it to a mechanic and pay the money to get it fixed quickly.
