Question type: Maintenance & Repair

What preparations should I expect when swapping
a 1995 4.9l engine into a 1994 with a blown 4.9?

Look to see what parts would have to come off the blown motor to go onto the other engine. Look at the plugins to sensors and such. Exhaust manifold may be different. Motor mounts may be different. The front of the engine belt system may be different. But you would have no problem swapping what you need.
