Tire replacement

Asked by JoeyC942 Nov 07, 2017 at 11:36 AM about the 1993 Ford F-150 XLT LB

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hello. Thanks for your time. I have a Ford F-
150 1993. I have two flats and need to
replace them. The tire size is 235/75/R15.
My friend has some tires but they are
245/75/R16. Can I use those tires?

No. R15 and R16 are two different radius', they are not interchangeable. You have to stick with R15 tires for your rim size. Now, if your friend also gave you his rims, you could use that size tire.
