antifreeze leak

Asked by Ashley Jun 08, 2017 at 05:52 PM about the 1993 Ford F-150 XLT Extended Cab Stepside SB

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I just discovered that my truck is leaking
antifreeze into my tranny. When checking the fluid
it is a pink color with black in it. Which generally
means water has got in it. Is there anything I can
do to save my trans and keep from having to
replace it? I believe that the radiator is where the
leak is.

i think your trying to say that the leak is in the area of the radiator where the transmission cooler is??/if this is trure...repair the rad/trans cooler and or omit the trans.cooler in the radiator...add a external cooler and service the trans
