Sounds like a seat belt ding. Does it stop then start at regular intervals? Is there a heavy object on one of the seats? You'll have to determine, by the process of elimination, which system is causing the malfunction. Check and make sure the key for the ignition is fully returned to the run position.

Thank you. I checked the seat belts, ignition etc. It started when I was going thru car wash tunnel...at end when wind was being blown to dry. And continued as I drove for approx 10 miles. Then went off (while driving)..... then came back on..... and then off as I pulled into garage. I THINK that water may have goten behind dash ?? and maybe temporary caused a short of some sort? All the dash gauages etc were fine. Just the dinging. Today, went out and started vehicle/truck...all appeared fine. Will find out when I go somewhere. ???

Check under under seat wiring. I found under driver's seat one wire plug with nothing plugged in, I put a jumper wire and beep has stopped
