changed fuel pump on front tank of 92 ford f150, 5.0 engine. pump worked fine for about 30 miles then quit again. it was a new pump, but now cant hear it turn on when switch is turned on and no pressure on fuel bar. any suggestions on diagnosing problem or getting to pump without removing truck bed

Check your fuse, if it's bad check for any possible shorts or pinched lines,

Fuel filters usually talk to you unless you pull some really bad gas. Normally with a filter you will experience loss of power but the engine will usually start.
