Problem areas: ECM, MAF, Idle Air Sensor, EGR, Throttle Position Sensor, Knock Sensor, Cam Sensor, Crank Sensor. If the engine is so equipped. You are going to get error messages and codes everywhere. Or the engine is going to constantly try to adjust itself to operate within the limits set by the computer. Best to spend a few bucks at a local speed shop for the correct guidance. If none are local, then there are literally dozens of speed equipment shops on line. You will probably have to replace a few electronic components.
