Asked by CowboyMark2 Apr 04, 2019 at 07:19 PM about the 1990 Ford F-150 S LB

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

When I turn the key I get nothing. No click
click, nothing. But if I jump across the
relay it starts right up. Brand new
alternator, brand new relay. What's my
problem?

Could be you need to reset with the remote start button usually mounted under the dash by the steering column. Press the button in and hold it in while turning the ignition key.
