F350 2003 6.0

Question type: General

I change the oil cooler, ones i intall all
back, the motor won't turn over, i check
the starter solenoide, the starter but i
don't know how to check the neutral
safty switch, i check under the
transmision and i don't found one,

Double check your work, make sure you didn't bump any connections? Make sure batteries are fully charged and connections all good. To see if starter motor will crank the engine, you can pull starter relay, use jumper on switch side of relay, left side in the picture, between terminal 30 and 87 cavities. As you can see terminal 30 is hot all the time and fuse protected. The starter motor should crank the engine? Using the jumper will bypass the tranny range sensor. If you try that, make sure tranny is in park or neutral and parking brake is set. I won't be back online till tomorrow, good luck.

Here i go, thans so much for your help (Oilspill) After some days of trying to make my truck turn over, finaly found the problem, 1- two wires in one sensor atached to the valve Cover,( passenger side) was toching each other I fix it, put a new both connectors, and as sooner i open the switch i ear the fuel pump work, Put rhe ignition in start position and motor start turn over, start after 5 second of crancking, Drive test and is working fine now, Note: i am not a Diesel mechanic but i want to lear, ( Oilspill) thanks for taking the time to advice me, thums up,
