I believe these pull from a speed sensor on the side of the transmission.

the vehicle speed sensor is mounted to the top of the rear diff

I think it's on the top of the transmission, or at least that's the way it is on a '91

I have a 99 f 250 with a manual transmission. I replaced the rear diff speed sensor still dosnt show ur speed any ideas of what could be wroung
